Blue Mall
“Blue Mall” (Av. Winston Churchill 80) – an upscale 15-floor shopping center which houses various shops carrying high-end merchandise for wealthier shoppers, such as Cartier, Swarovski and Hublot (jewelry); Armani Exchange, BCBG Max Azria, Carolina Herrera, Desigual, Faconnable, Louis Vuitton, Mango, Massimo Dutti, Salvatore Ferragamo, Pronovias, Vilebrequin, and Zara (apparel); Aldo, Adidas, Crocs, Nine West, Puma, and Steve Madden (footwear) – all major U.S. and international brands that, more often than not, upper-income Dominican shoppers would have to get when they’re visiting Miami or New York. The same investor group is also building similar “Blue Mall” shopping complexes at the Dominican resort area of Punta Cana, and St. Maarten in the eastern Caribbean.
