Café Bacacay (Bacacay 1306, Ciudad Vieja, Montevideo) – housed in a building constructed in 1844, this restaurant (located across the street from Teatro Solís), offers dishes of various international influences, ranging from the fish of the day with wasabi or limoncello sauce, to sirloin steak in ginger sauce with sun-dried tomatoes and boiled potatoes, chicken in citrus and ginger sauce with grilled vegetables, and ravioli in lemon and parmesan with arugula.
