Catabar

Catabar (Av. Principal Joaquín Maneiro de Pampatar) – the meals served here have a heavy French influence. The front is its dining area (which has a wine section nearby). Further into the restaurant is a lounge area, for late night socializing. Among the dishes served there are white fish fillet sautéed in a light cream sauce (moist and flavorful) with ratatouille, grilled tenderloin topped generously with foie gras, and langosteens in a tangy curry sauce garnished with fresh dill. Among its desserts are warm chocolate soufflé topped with vanilla ice cream and complemented by a chocolate ‘egg roll’ garnish.
