Punta Brava Lighthouse (Punta Carretas, Montevideo) – built in 1876, this 21-meter tall lighthouse is vital for guiding commercial vessels into Banco Inglés, Buceo Port and the entrance of the Santa Lucía River (west of Montevideo). With the lighthouse becoming electric in 1962, it is still active to this day.
