Il Ponte (2 Sir Chittampalam A Gardiner Mawatha, Colombo) – this is Sri Lanka’s only Italian trattoria — an informal restaurant that offers a homely atmosphere and views of the pool at the Hilton Colombo hotel. Patrons can choose from Italian specialties, including home-made pasta and pizzas baked in a wood oven. Along with Italian dishes, diners can also order other items, like lamb and lobster. Live jazz music is played here on Friday and Saturday evenings.
