PUNTA CANA – DINING

Both the all-inclusive resorts at Bávaro and PCRC & Cap Cana luxury enclaves have their own array of dining options for their respective guests. However, for those having a long vacation in that part of the island, such visitors will eventually want to sample dining elsewhere.
For those in the mood for Italian cuisine, one option is “Mamma Luisa” at the Galerías de Punta Cana outdoor shopping center. Within that same shopping area is the Portuguese restaurant “El Tablao”, and the Mexican restaurant “El Burrito”. For American food, there’s “Hard Rock Café” at the Palma Real Shopping Village.
A favorite spot for seafood is “Jellyfish” restaurant (located on the beach, between Meliá Caribe Tropical and IFA Villas resorts at Bávaro beach). Not far from there is “Huracan Café” (located at Playa El Cortecito, Bávaro), where Italian dishes & pastas, as well as other items like Tex-Mex options are served. By prior arrangement, this restaurant’s chef will even take special requests. Because of its location, parties are occasionally held there (including events for House music fans).
